Populating your books

IMPORTANT: Make sure to delete the fake book or change its name and its "slug" (quick edit to view the slug while looking at the list of books in the backend).

Don't worry about modifying the template I briefly showed toward the end, we'll do that in the next video.

If you do NOT like the built-in retailer icons, I recommend you pause this course and switch to the Advanced Customization Module, where you'll find videos that show you how to modify the way you include your retailer links (using text buttons, adding/changing icons, and getting rid of the > symbol).

If you like the retailer icons/layout, then go ahead and populate all of your books now then come join me in the next video.

Here's the Amazon Associates policy that talks about not being allowed to display your Amazon reviews/ratings on your site:

"(t) You will not display or otherwise use any of our customer reviews or star ratings, in part or in whole, on your Site unless you have obtained a link to that customer review or star rating through PA API and you comply with the requirements for PA API described in the License."

Include your Amazon reviews at your own risk. The Associates program typically sends you a five-day review-take-down notice before they kick you out for that reason, but policies may change. I will NOT be held responsible if you include reviews and get kicked out.
